Selling land you live far from

Many lot owners bought years ago, moved away, or inherited land in another state. You can usually sell without ever visiting.

You don't need to see the lot again

We research the property from public records and current aerial photos: size, road access, utilities, zoning, flood zone and nearby land sales. You don't need to clear it, survey it or meet anyone there.

Signing from where you live

An independent title company or closing attorney handles the closing. Documents can usually be signed by mail with a local notary or through a remote online notary, and the proceeds are paid to you by wire or check.

Watch for scams

Land owners are frequent targets of fraud. A legitimate buyer will put the offer in writing, close through a licensed title company or attorney you can look up, and never ask you to pay to sell. Feel free to verify us: Waddell Investment Group LLC is registered in Florida.

Property taxes from afar

If you're unsure whether taxes are paid, check the county tax collector's website. Unpaid taxes are normally paid from the sale price at closing.
