This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us about a property, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address or location (including any address you select from suggestions while typing), state, and any message you send through our forms, by email, by phone or by text.
- Property and ownership information: details gathered from public records (for example, property appraiser, tax and recorder records), maps and zoning sources, and from commercial data providers, used to identify the property, confirm ownership and contact details, and evaluate it.
- Basic technical information: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) used to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
How we use information
- To evaluate and respond to your property inquiry, including sending a confirmation that we received it.
- To research the property and its ownership, and to prepare, present and complete a potential transaction.
- To keep records of our communications in our customer records system, including requests not to be contacted.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you choose to opt in to text messages, for example by checking the optional box on our form or agreeing during a phone conversation, we use your phone number to send messages about your property inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Opting in is never a condition of selling your property or of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We keep a record of your consent (the phone number, date and time, how consent was given, and the disclosure shown), and a record of any opt-out, so we can honor your choices.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to:
- work with service providers that operate on our behalf, such as website hosting, database, email, telephone and messaging, address lookup, and property-research or data providers, which may process information to perform those services;
- complete a transaction you choose to proceed with, such as with a title company, closing attorney or escrow agent, and, where a purchase agreement is assigned, the buyer receiving that assignment;
- comply with law, legal process or to protect rights and safety.
The text messaging exclusions above apply to all sharing.
Your choices
- Stop contact: email waddellinvestmentgroup@gmail.com, tell us on a call, or reply STOP to any text. We record and honor these requests.
- Access or deletion: email us to ask what information we hold about you or to request deletion, subject to records we must keep by law or to document a transaction.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to honor contact preferences, and to meet legal and recordkeeping requirements.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
